From the archive: our live set at the Designheads zine launch

In May 2023, Designheads threw a launch party for their zine at Studio Guapo in New York and invited us to play. EVENINGS and Sharlatan went back to back for two hours, and we broadcast the whole set live on our own station.

The recording is still on our station, and you can listen to the full two-hour set on Evenings.

Why it's still here

We care about archives as much as we care about going live. A set like this happens once, in one room, and the recording is the only way anyone who wasn't there gets to hear it. That's why every broadcast on Evenings is recorded: when a stream ends, the recording saves to the station's Library, where you can play it back, download it and share it, years later if you want to.

Designheads wrote about the night on their Substack in "EVENINGS.FM — Designheads Release Live Mix". Thank you to Pink Essay and the Designheads crew for having us.

Broadcast your own event

If you're putting on a launch, a party or a listening session, you can broadcast it live on Evenings from your browser, OBS or BUTT, and the set will be waiting in your Library when you stop. Start a station with a free month, and send us the link to your first event at contact@evenings.email. We'd like to listen in.
